I was gob-smacked when I saw these last weekend. The latest creation from Earle Weston of Weston Acoustics. The monoblacks are 300B, the preamp uses a 6SN7 per channel. They sounded very nice driving a small pair of 3″ fullrange drivers in a transmission line type of cabinet.Read More →

I have to say, I really like the little miniDSP unit. It fulfils a useful purpose, it’s easy to use, and it’s cheap to boot. It doesn’t pretend to be the ultimate anything – you plug it in, and it “just works.” Plain and simple, but also powerful.
